Stack Overflow serves nearly 100 million unique visitors a month, serving a page in 40ms using 9 web servers and 2 database servers.

In this talk I will cover how we develop, build, configure, deploy, monitor and maintain the site.

Oded has been a software engineer since 1997, most of which were spent working on web applications. A prolific contributor to Stack Overflow since its beta in 2008, he has answered thousands of questions on it, though in the last three years, since he joined the Stack Overflow team, he has been spending more time hacking the code than answering questions.
